- This unique evergreen produces burgundy-red foliage that turns to green as it ages. Clusters of ruby-red, fringed flowers bloom profusely during winter and spring, and periodically throughout the rest of the year.
- This low-maintenance, evergreen needs a regular water schedule to ensure the growth of a mature root system. After the mature root system is established, watering is needed occasionally, except during a drought, watering is needed regularly. Pruning old foliage is recommended to maintain a well-groomed appearance. Mulch to prevent loss of moisture, deter weeds and moderate winter temperatures.
- Ruby Loropetalum, also known as Ruby Chinese Fringe Flower, is a compact, rounded evergreen shrub works well as a foundation planting or hedge. Deep purple foliage becomes green as it matures. Fragrant, pink flowers in spring add to this shrubÕs appeal. Flowers sporadically throughout the summer.
