AUTHENTIC TRENTON STYLE QUOITS Over 50,000 sold since 1959! –Official Size: 7 1/2″ diameter with 5″ hole –Official Weight: 2 ½ lbs –Made in the USA from Cast Steel This style of steel quoits is popular in the central potions of New Jersey, especially in and around the Trenton area. These quoits are larger in diameter, but much thinner and lighter than the standard North American Quoits. They are 7 1/2 inches in diameter with an almost 5 inch hole, and weigh 2 1/2 pounds each, making them very similar in size and weight to a horseshoe. The much larger center hole, which is nearly the size of an entire traditional quoit, together with the 21-foot pitching distance, would seem to make Trenton Quoits relatively easy to score ringers with. These quoits also weigh nearly half as much as traditional quoits, which makes this game somewhat more favorable for women and younger teens to play.
